Hello readers, and welcome to another #TIpTuesday! Today we’ll briefly talk about reports.
So, reports. What are they? Basically, reports are a way to organize your GIS data into an easy-to-read and printable format. These can be all sorts of things, from mailing lists of parcels you’ve selected to summarizing the value of each tree categorized by species. Really, a report can be customized by your GIS Analysts at Ruekert & Mielke Inc. to display whatever information you need in almost any way you need it.
To generate a report, first identify a set of data where a report is available (contact us if you’d like to know what reports you have) and click the hamburger menu. In this example, we’ll do a Tree Species Value report.
Here’s an excerpt of what the final product looks like:
The same can be done to summarize sidewalk inspections, repairs needed, create mailing lists for a selected set of parcels, and much more. Give reports a try in your site or in our demo YourTown site.
