Spring is near and your storm structures need to be clean. Help yourself stay sharp and organized by using our easy-to-use Storm Structure Inspection and Cleaning Tool!
When you are in the field inspecting, you can use your GIS application to identify your target storm structure. In the “Details Table” of your target structure, select the “Add Inspection” button.
In the Inspection dashboard, you have a variety of fields that describe the current state of your structure: what needs to be fixed or replaced, as well as the clean-up that you performed after your inspection. The gold stars indicate the four fields that must be populated in order to complete and add your inspection report to your structure.
Once you’re satisfied with the information documented, select “Save” to add/update your structure’s inspection report.
Each report will be archived within the structure’s “Inspections” tab, as shown above. A user may edit or delete an individual report. Once you’re finished, click “Close” at the bottom of the table to take you back to the map.
In your map legend, you can turn on the “Storm Structure – Year Cleaned” layer to identify the structures by how recently they have been cleaned.
